DripSiren does not review covers and/or coverbands, but this one particular cover artist made his way to our private playlists. Introducing Byron's Brigades and his wonderful cover of Goodnight Moon.
Andrea a.k.a. Byron's Brigades is an Italian rock artist. Byron's Brigades is his solo project he started in 2020 as result of the COVID-19 pandemic. He decided to record covers in his home studio, playing all of the instruments himself. He draws inspiration from 50s, 60s and most particularly 70s music. Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Muddy Waters, Robert Johnson and Led Zeppelin are his biggest inspirations.
Goodnight Moon
''(...) you can't help but to be amazed by the way he nailed each instrument on the track, recorded great vocals and mixed and mastered his own cover to perfection.''
Knowing that Andrea (Byron's Brigades) is a one-man production, you can't help but to be amazed by the way he nailed each instrument on the track, recorded great vocals and mixed and mastered his own cover to perfection. Perfection is the way to describe this production. Andrea took a cover and made it entirely his own, surpassing the original recording in the way it has a hold on us.
Andrea is definitely in his own lane and presents us with quality and professionalism in his skill, talent and production. His wonderfully crafted cover art for his production perfectly fits the mood of the song and reflects how great of a creative mind he has. Bellissima!
We hope Byron's Brigades will eventually venture into creating his own original music, we already stan.
