'Hear Me' was originally written in 2019 after the occurrences in Sudan. She wrote a song from the perspective of those crying out for help. Watching their cries for help fade into nothingness is what drove Dalia Lily to write and produce the powerful masterpiece that is 'Hear Me'. She released an equally beautiful music video to compliment the harsh reality of the song.
The vocalist remains in her lower register for the majority of the song which beautifully fit the song. Dalia beautifully applied layered harmonies as the simplicity of the music is lifted by the cleverly crafted harmonies. Dalia shows off her vocal prowess while keeping the song's heartfelt message in mind. The powerful production is reminiscent of any Sia production, both music- and vocal wise.
