Dee is a Canadian recording artist who has recently released her latest album: 'Fresh Air Fantasy'. Dee is no stranger to us at DripSiren as we've covered her earlier and had her on our YouTube series Spotlight.
Produced by her partner in crime (and law), Donny G, Dee released her eclectic album Fresh Air Fantasy on August 27, 2022. Dee went all out and had an official album release party where she had numerous guests perform alongside herself. She paired her release with merchandise which really shows her level of professionalism in this industry. Watch her album release party here.
The album has been constructed cleverly and planning was definitely a part of creating the sound and tracklist of this album. The album beautifully kicks off with 'See Straight' which opens the album with sounds of a rainforest before the beat and vocals kick in. The rain sounds are a recurring theme on the album. The song is followed by 'You Can Wish', which she performed live on our podcast 'Independent State of Mind' (click here to listen to the live performance). A pleasant and catchy uptempo track which will definitely stay on your mind for a long time.
Track no. 5 on the album is 'Lasting Force' which introduces a new sound on the album. The song has more attitude both vocal and production wise in contrary to the preceding tracks. This shows yet again Dee's ability to plan correctly. 'Lasting Force' comes as a pleasant surprise after the preceding songs seemed to have set the tone of the album.
'Don't Adore' is listed as track no. 10 which in our opinion has been 'Fresh Air Fantasy' biggest single off the album. Don't Adore represents the album in the best way as it offers the listener a beautifully eclectic musical production and Dee's signature vocals.
The album closes with 'Elevated' (track no. 12) which is even a bigger surprise than 'Lasting Force' as 'Elevated' is a stripped down and beautiful ballad which leans on Dee's strong vocals and beautiful ability to harmonise any song to perfection.
It's an overall great album. Dee proves with this album her professionalism, talent and star power. A powerful production and beautiful compilation of music. Kudos to Donny G for producing the beautifully constructed music. 'Fresh Air Fantasy' definitely is the product of two masterminds at work.
