Nicole Sumerlyn released the live acoustic performance of her hit single 'Hostage' on July 29th. The stripped down rendition of her song accompanied by a stunning visual adds layers of depth and hurt to the already magnificent production. Nicole delivers live vocals which are true to the original studio production, which is a rare feat nowadays. She even raised her belt near the end of the song a whole octave effortlessly. Visually, Nicole is dressed in simple, yet trendy, fashion. She's backed by a guitarist which fades into nothingness as Nicole's visual and vocals have a hypnotising pull. Another notable feature is the amazing video quality and angles.
